The Home for Elders at Battaramulla is managed by the Municipal Council Colombo. There are about 100 elders and 10 orphans taken cared at this facility. This is a well-managed facility and about 30 staff are working here.
For last 5 years we have been donating lunch on every “Poya Day” to this facility. A well- cooked meal consisting 5 vegetable curries, rice and fruits are served to elders, orphans and the staff.
Also, we have provided transportation for them to arrange pilgrimage to various religious institutions and sites on various occasions.
